The story of edvella's playground: Reaching The Masses (2001-2003)
By the year 2000, Audiovisualmagitastic had built up a user base of thousands of users. It has been the first Pantera Designs program to do so, and the first to have been having monthly updates from us for a longer period than even we ourselves never thought possible. The program's users have helped us to improve it by telling us how they were using the program in new and inventive ways, and we in turn worked towards making better features to accomodate their particular needs. So thank you all!
Titles:
Audiovisualmagitastic (1999-2002) - still running strong by catering for the established user base and adding features to attract new users.
Personaemicon (2002-2005) - this one was a quick afternoon bashing session which resulted in a nice little program to find curious facts about people's names. However this became our first program to go into the thousands of downloads in its first day of release, which encouraged us to add some more features and also a wiki about people's names.
DeskDeco (2002-present) - a program to decorate your desktop with a different wallpaper each time your computer starts, or anytime you feel like it.
Buyer's Hub (2002-2003) - this is a service for online shoppers to help them decide which online store suits them best. The related software is a web browser that connects to the service directly.
